The Mt. Hope youth went on a missions trip to Appalachia from July 11 - 17, 2020, in partnership with Praying Pelican Missions. We partnered with two local churches, Downtown Bethel House of God and Liberty Street Church of God. We served one of the poorest neighborhoods in Parkersburg, West Virginia afflicted with poverty and addiction. The team did repair work on dilapidated homes and yard work for the elderly and disabled. We replenished a local food pantry. We canvassed the neighborhood door to door, passing literature on the love of Jesus Christ and information on social resources available from surrounding churches. To help support Mt. Hope’s local missions outreach, please consider making a donation via check or Tithe.ly, a safe and secure online giving platform. Please designate “Missions Trip” with your donation.
