Verses of Victory Handout
Mt. Hope Church is both a historic treasure and a modern, contemporary, and relevant experience.

Founded in 1835 by a small group of local farmers in western Loudoun County, Mt. Hope has been a place of relevant, powerful, authentic, and honest experience with God for nearly two centuries.

Today, our services are contemporary and enthusiastic, casual and honest. Our people are down-to-earth, laid-back, genuine, and transparent. We strive for this to be a place where every person is known, believed in, cared for, and cherished.

We comprise all kinds of people, careers, and passions: public servants in government, medicine, social work and education; entrepreneurs; retirees; moms who left the workplace; students; and more. We are also incredibly imperfect: people who are honest about their struggles, failures, disappointments, and broken places. You’ll find Mt. Hope to be incredibly welcoming no matter who you are, where you are from, or what your journey looks like.

Come join us and discover that you matter immensely—to God, and to us. We are a group of Imperfect People pursuing a very Perfect God. You’ll be welcome and you’ll fit right in. And you might just be changed!

Nursery care is provided during the service for infants and children under age 5. Elementary and middle school students participate in the worship music portion of the service with their families before heading to Kids Connect & Middle School Youth Connect groups. High school youth meet together immediately following the service.

Jesus said, “Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, & with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”   - Matt. 22:37-39
