Chris NicholsonAfter being born in Maine and raised in Connecticut, Chris Nicholson came to the DC Metro area to earn a BA in political communications from the George Washington University. He and his wife, Eileen, began attending Mt. Hope in 1999, and Chris joined the hospitality committee soon after. His first professional culinary job was touring with the Big Apple Circus, where he cooked for clowns, roustabouts and even a llama. His favorite cuisine is “homestyle comfort food.”
In a prior professional life, Chris saw the inside of prisons in more than a dozen countries (as communications manager for Prison Fellowship International.) He is also a prizewinning playwright who authored three plays with openings on New York’s 42nd Street. Chris cherishes time with his wife and their two adult sons, and is on the continuous lookout for the perfect bass lake or trout stream. |
