Retired Mt. Hope Pastor
​John Zoller

Pastor John served as the pastor of Mt. Hope from 1997 until October 2021. He and his wife Alice have been involved in ministry their entire married lives. They have three adult children and seven grandchildren. In addition to ministry, John enjoys playing the guitar, song-writing, photography, and carpentry. His pastoral strengths include Biblical Scholarship, warmth, generosity of spirit, and servant-hearted leadership.

John grew up in Laramie, Wyoming, and later in Durham, New Hampshire. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire, and attended the Gordon-Cornwell Theological Seminary, where he earned a Masters of Divinity.  He later attended Denver Seminary in Littleton, Colorado.  Prior to Mt. Hope, he served as pastor at two other churches in New York: the West Oneonta Baptist Church and Geneseo Baptist Church.
