For those who are followers of Jesus Christ, Spiritual Disciplines are activities and habits that we foster through the Grace of God to open us to receiving and manifesting God's Grace, to grow in Him spiritually, and to learn His ways through the spiritual transformation of our minds, souls and spirits.
There are many good practices and habits that are based on spiritual principles found in scripture. The activities have no spiritual value in and of themselves, but serve as a means for us to be taught the ways of Jesus by the Holy Spirit .  No list is ever complete.  The list below is derived from the book Celebration of Discipline, the Path to Spiritual Growth by Richard J. Foster, 4th Ed. 2018, Harper One.

Jesus said, “Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, & with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”   - Matt. 22:37-39
